Owner & Founder
​​Fifteen years ago I walked away from corporate and never looked back. However, in order to fully understand my Strength & Grace Method, I need to take you back to who I was before I decided to follow fitness as a career.
​
I was always a very shy and socially anxious child, adolescent, teen, and then young adult. It wasn't until I started to strength train consistently that I really began to see what I was capable of and that the most important relationship one can ever have is the one they have with themselves.
I started training where most coaches start: bootcamps in local parks, group fitness classes and training at big box gyms (24 Hour Fitness across League City, Friendswood, and Pearland to be specific). It wasn't glamorous, but it was real, and I loved every minute of it.
What changed everything wasn't a certification. It was my own journey back to myself. Through strength training I found something I didn't know I'd lost: my confidence, my sense of self-worth, and a relationship with my body that actually felt sustainable. That experience didn't just change how I trained. It changed what I believed was possible for women.
From there I built deliberately. I earned my NASM certification and went deeper, adding a Behavior Change Specialization and Mobility Specialist certification because I wanted to understand not just how women move, but why they struggle to stay consistent and how to actually fix it.
I trained at the University of Houston Downtown and UH Main Campus, growing my education and skillset while building my own client base. I worked inside women's-only spaces and felt firsthand what happens when women train in an environment built specifically for them and then made it my mission to create a community without judgment, without pressure, without having to shrink themselves to fit in.
Over the years I've coached women through milestones like weddings, pregnancies, promotions; even helping them recovery after surgeries or injuries; the kind of real life moments that derail most fitness journeys. That's the work I'm most proud of. Showing up for women when life is hard, not just when it's easy, is what separates coaching from just training.
Sami Grace Fitness wasn't launched. It was built; grassroots, community-first, one woman at a time. Almost a decade later that's still exactly how we operate.
I'm not here to give you a program. I'm here to coach you through life and there's a difference.

Coaching by Sami:
​$125/session (2x per week minimum)

A curated strength program tailored to your specific injury history and goals.
Sami provides proactive accountability to ensure your progress never stalls.
This isn't a 12-week transformation; it's an investment in your future self. You are building strength capital you'll life off for for the next 40 years.
I'm not here to just count your reps. I'm here to coach you through the mindset blocks that keep you from being consistent.

Package A: 2x/wk (8 sessions per month) Investment: $929/month

Package B: 3x/wk (12 sessions per month) Investment: $1399/month​

All owner-trained coaching packages include concierge access via text or email, nutrition guidance and monthly inBody scan check-ins, custom macronutrient adjustments, accountability, and behavior coaching as needed.
​
Sessions are 40-60 minutes depending on goals and current fitness level.
​

Hi, my name is Saranya Taylor. I spent 18 years in education and coaching before transitioning into the corporate world as a Sales Manager. I grew up dancing and was a competitive dancer through college influencing my degree and igniting my coaching years. I am passionate about helping others, physical fitness, and motivating others. If I’m not traveling or enjoying the outdoors, I’m spending time with family and my fur babies.

Coach & Member Engagement
Hi, my name is Hali Parker. I have been NASM certified for 4 years and with Sami Grace Fitness for 6 years now. When I am not running a class or working out myself, you can find me hanging out with my family.
​
I have always been passionate about helping people reach their goals which is why, when I found Sami Grace, I knew I was going to love it! If you decide to take my class, you can expect smiling faces, some free karaoke, killer dance moves sprinkled in with some laughs, and encouragement to be the best you that you can be.

Coach
John is a coach who prioritizes longevity, real-world strength, and high-quality movement. With experience working with a wide range of populations, from kids and first-time exercisers to active adults and group fitness members, John brings a practical and adaptable approach to training. His coaching emphasizes strong fundamentals, proper form, and intentional intensity, helping clients build strength and confidence in a way that feels sustainable and approachable. Known for his energy and presence on the floor, John creates an engaging and supportive environment where clients feel seen, heard, and motivated. Whether working one on one or in a group setting, his goal is to make training effective, enjoyable, and something clients can stick with long term.
John brings a personable, high-energy coaching style that makes clients feel comfortable, supported, and excited to show up, helping them build consistency through connection and quality coaching.
